Project Description:  This project will expand and enhance substance abuse services for pregnant and parenting women and their children that builds on existing adult and child treatment delivery systems and services.

Organization Name:  Contra Costa Child Care Council

Project Description:  This program will expand and enhance the availability of quality child care and early education in typical settings for infants and children with special needs, improve availability of quality child care for infants and toddlers and increase the number of existing unlicensed child care providers that become licensed.

Project Description:  Provide services to assure accessibility, early identification and referral of children with mental health, social/emotional and developmental problems and provide technical support for providers and caregivers of children zero to five years of age with identified mental health problems or special needs.

Project Description: 
Planning process that will link the parents with children 0-5 who are enrolled in the STAR program with families of KTL with surplus resources and available services.

Project Description:  Planning process to bring together families from the San Ramon community with families from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Project Description:  To plan for the organization and implementation of a We Grow community garden whose participants will include families of pre-school children, childcare facility providers and the children themselves.

Project Description: 
Solicit community input and plan implementation of an effort to improve the safety of families in the Parkside neighborhood, including through community health education and training regarding CPR and other first aid techniques.

Project Description:  Enhance an existing service to parents.  Materials such as computers and educational software will have apparent effects on the results when parents are empowered to enhance the lives of their children.

Project Description: 
This project will build the capacity of families with children 0-5 living in the El Pueblo neighborhood to lead healthier lives by learning to prepare nutritional, easy-to-fix, low fat and culturally appropriate meals.

Project Description:  This project will address residents needs for safe recreational equipment for toddlers, and school safety crossings for young students.
